4 Must-Visit Butterfly Parks In Arizona

With fall right around the corner in Arizona, it’s the perfect time to explore what the state has to offer. From a game of golf to an afternoon at the museum. There are so many great butterfly parks to check out with the weather cooling off, which is why we’re give you some of the best to stop in at this fall.

1) Butterfly Wonderland

Located in Scottsdale, Arizona, Butterfly Wonderland is the perfect close to home stop. Visit on the third Saturday of the month to meet Leslie the Butterfly Fairy. And while you’re there, explore lush tropical paradise filled with thousands of friendly butterflies from all over the world. 2) Cohn Family Butterfly Pavilion

Opened in 2002, the Cohn Family Butterfly Pavilion is 3,200 square feet of open-air structure. That cultivates a special relationship between insects and plants of the Sonoran Desert. Here you can explore the life cycle by interacting with thousands of butterflies. All while teaching you how to conserve them for future generations.

3) Patagonia Butterfly Garden

While this is a world renowned garden for the bird enthusiasts, the Patagonia Butterfly Garden has hundreds of beautiful butterfly species migrate through each year. The park is built from donations of local citizens and has become a haven for these beautiful creatures.

4) Butterfly Magic

Butterfly Magic located in Tucson, Arizona the perfect place to spend the afternoon. Check out the tropical plants not easily seen in the Southwest, including the show orchids from around the world. But the main feature here, are the hundreds of butterflies fluttering around you as you explore.
